Artichoke spread is an incredibly easy appetizer to make for any get togethers. You can serve pretty much anything with it. My favorite is warm baguette slices but crackers and even vegetables taste just as good!
Ingredients for Artichoke Spread
- 8 ounces, grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces, mayonnaise
- 2 cans baby artichoke hearts (in water), quartered
- 1/4 teaspoon, garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste

How to make
Start by preheating your oven to 325ºF.
Next, quarter the baby artichokes.

Continue by adding in the mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste. Mix the artichoke spread well.

Lastly, transfer to a baking dish. Bake Artichoke spread for 20 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly!

Growing up my parents were always having dinner parties or just get togethers in the summer. I remember those dinner parties being quite fancy with the food that was served but truth be told, the food at the summer parties was just as good if not better!
The “spread” of appetizers (see what I did there??!) was always impressive. Impressive in terms of nothing fancy or weird ingredients, but just the simplicity of the dish and the taste.
Seriously, even the good old fashioned Hidden Valley ranch packet mixed with sour cream served with a bag of salty chips. Heaven. Cheese dips and taco dips and crab dips, oh my! There are so many nostalgic foods for me with Artichoke spread being one of them but there are way too many to name.
One of our family favorites, aside from this Artichoke Spread is my Kalamata Olive Tapenade. Salty and tangy and also great served with warm bread.
I would love to hear what foods are nostalgic to you and your family! Enjoy.~Christina
