Whip it, Whip it Real Good
This dip or spread can be eaten with truly anything. From fresh veggies to grilled meats, you can’t go wrong with the addition of this insanely, addictive Whipped Feta.
The longest step is roasting the garlic. I encourage you to not eliminate this step as it elevates the dip by adding a sweet, nutty flavor that balances out the brininess from the feta.
Once the garlic is roasted and you have squeezed out those little flavor bombs, all that is left to do is put everything into a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy. And that is it! Transfer to a bowl, drizzle a little bit of extra virgin olive on top and sprinkle chopped parsley.

Roasted Garlic vs. Raw Garlic
There are many recipes out there, for this particular dip, that call for raw garlic.
Raw garlic is quite pungent and bold. It adds great flavor to salad dressings, marinades, salsa’s and sauces like Tziki.
Roasted garlic is mellow and buttery. It adds great flavor to toasted bread, mashed potatoes and soups.
You can absolutely use raw garlic instead of roasted garlic. I was looking for a more mellow taste for this particular recipe.
Good Quality Feta for Whipped Feta
There are handfuls of different brands of feta cheese out there. To be honest, I am a feta cheese snob as I grew up eating Barrel Feta shipped from Greece to NYC. Being that there are such few ingredients in this Whipped Feta recipe, I highly recommend you find yourself a good, quality feta such as Dodoni.
I would love to hear what you put your Whipped Feta on. ~Christina
